It's so easy to host an event for FGCC

FGCC is about couples meeting other couples. It's about laughing, learning, and sharing among ourselves and within our community. Events provide the framework for our networking, and couples hosting events provides the foundation. Don't let the idea of hosting an event scare you -- just remember a basic rule: "less is more." A smaller, more intimate event is just as rewarding to host as a larger one.

If space is a concern, simply put a limit on the number of guests that your event can accommodate. It is better to have a smaller gathering than none at all. If party planning is not your thing, consider a "meet us there" type of event...at a restaurant, museum, sports event, public speaker, or theater, for example. All you do is gather the responses, then meet and greet.

Got an idea for an event?

Choose a date, time, and location and contact the Events Couple at events@fgccouples.com with your details. Or, even easier, just fill out the Event Form on the homepage to input all of your information. The form goes by email to the Board, and one of the Board members will post the information to the Calendar of Events. It's that simple!

If going it alone seems a bit much, consider teaming up with one or more other couples to host an event. Many of our events are co-hosted by multiple couples.

The most important thing is...your willingness to host. We can help you with ideas, planning, publicity, and execution. C'mon and join in the fun of hosting!
